2011 Mercedes Benz C-Class Tail Light Failure
Certain 2008-2011 Mercedes-Benz C-Class vehicles could experience taillight failure as a result of an electrical problem with the tail light ground pin connector. The automobile manufacturer and the NHTSA launched an investigation into the lighting problem in August 2013 after receiving twenty one complaints from customers who say they experienced a loss of one or more rear lamp assemblies and experienced melted connectors that resulted in smoke and fires in the trunk. Jaguar Land Rover Braking, Steering, & Electrical Defects
Jaguar Land Rover North America have filed several non compliance reports with the NHTSA and will be asking owners of certain Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles to return to an authorized dealer for repairs.
The first problem involves 2013-2014 Jaguar XF, XJ, and XK vehicles. Reports filed with the NHTSA state that during prolonged aggressive driving with frequent lateral and braking force, it is possible for the rear toe link to separate from the rear sub frame. Once separated, the orientation of the rear wheels could be affected, compromising stability and directional control. The problem can significantly increase the risk of an accident. Dealers will replace the nut and washer assembly on the rear toe links, free of charge. Jaguar’s number for this recall is J037 and the NHTSA campaign number is 14V-157. Continue reading

2015 Mazda6 Loss Of Engine Power
Certain model year 2014 Mazda3 and 2014-2015 Mazda6 vehicles equipped with 2.5L engines and a regenerative braking system, could experience a problem that results in an engine stall. General Motors Ignition Switch Problem
General Motors recall for ignition switches that could unexpectedly shut off, has resulted in the company facing multiple investigations into why the automobile manufacturer did not attempt to fix the problem sooner. The recall began in February with the announcement of issues in certain Chevrolet Cobalt and Pontiac G5 compact cars and was later expanded to include a total of 2.6 million newer vehicles, including Pontiac Pursuit & Solstice, Saturn Ions & Sky, and the Chevrolet HHR.
