Maserati North America has determined that a defect related to motor vehicle safety exists in sixty three 2014 Maserati Quattroporte GTS V8 vehicles. The automobile manufacturer has notified the NHTSA about the defect and will be asking owners to take their vehicles in to the nearest manufacturer approved repair facility to have electrical repairs done to the alternator starter wiring harness. Electrical Short Reduces Visibility In Toyota Avalon, Camry, & Corolla Cars
During a routine manufacturing inspection of certain Avalon, Camry, and Corolla cars, Toyota found a number of the vehicles in which the wiper function would become inoperative. After an investigation, Toyota has identified a problem with the windshield wiper switch and will be asking owners to take their vehicles into their nearest Toyota repair facility to have the problem fixed. 2014 Chevrolet Malibu Electrical Problem
General Motor’s have identified an electrical installation error in certain 2013 Chevy Malibu sedans equipped with an eight way power front seat and passenger seat options. The wiring harness in these vehicles may have been installed poorly and could chafe against the seat frame, eventually wearing through the wires insulation. A short in the electrical system could result in unintended movement of the seat, sparking, intermittent lighting, melted wiring, smoke or a fire. Continue reading
