Owners of certain 2016 Nissan Maxima vehicles will be returning to their dealership for repairs to the fuel system. While Nissan is continuing to examine the problem, a preliminary investigation has determined that certain vehicles may have fuel sending units that may have not been affixed to the fuel tank correctly. As a result, the 0-ring between the sending unit and fuel tank may not be seated and could leak, increasing the risk of fire during an accident. Continue reading

Chrysler And Dodge Minivan Overheating Vent Switches
An investigation into overheating window vent switches on some 2010-2014 Chrysler Town and Country and 2010-2014 Dodge Grand Caravan minivans will have owners returning their vehicles to have repairs done. The investigation began in early October 2012, after the automobile manufacturer identified seven warranty claims in which the vent switches were replaced because they had melted. There have been no reports of accidents or injuries related to the issue, but as of April 2014, Chrysler has identified approximately 36 reports of the problem. Continue reading

Owners of certain 2014 Volkswagen vehicles equipped with 1.8T engines and torque converter automatic transmissions, will be notified to return their vehicles to a manufacturer approved repair facility for a problem that could result in an automobile fire. 2010 Honda Odyssey Fuel Pump Problem
Honda has identified a potential defect relating to motor vehicle safety with regard to the fuel pump of certain 2005-2010 Odyssey minivans manufactured between June 2004 to September 2010. They will be asking 886,815 vehicle owners to return their vans to a manufacturer approved dealer to have the problem corrected. The Honda recall number associated with this campaign is JD9 (inspection and/or preliminary part replacement) and JE0 (final parts replacement) and the NHTSA campaign number is 14V-112. BMW Motorcycle Fuel Leak Problems
BMW of North America, LLC will be asking owners of certain 2005-2012 BMW R model, K model, S 1000 RR, and HP2 motorcycles to take their vehicles to the nearest BMW manufacturer approved repair facility to remedy a problem with the fuel system. This recall is the result of an engineering analysis (EA13-006) opened by the NHTSA in July 2013. The problem affects the fuel pump and auxiliary fuel pump on applicable models. Continue reading

BMW will be recalling one thousand five hundred and forty 2009-2010 X5 xDrive35d vehicles equipped with diesel engines, after receiving sixteen out of country reports of the fuel filter overheating.
