A defect affecting the suspension in certain 2014 Avalon and 2014 Camry will have approximately 5,650 vehicle owners returning to their dealership for repairs. According to the defect report, an incorrect left side front suspension lower arm may have been installed during manufacturing. The wrong part could result in insufficient clamping surface for one of the bolts that secures the lower arm to the lower ball joint. Impact to the lower ball joint during normal driving conditions could result in separation of the lower arm form the ball joint and loss of steering control. Continue reading

2012 Chevrolet Malibu California Lemon Law Buyback
The California Lemon Law states that vehicle owners experiencing repeated repair attempts, that cannot be fixed by the manufacturer or one of it’s approved repair facilities, could qualify for a buyback or replacement of their vehicle. Many consumers do not realize that if the vehicle has been out of service, in the hands of an authorized dealer for more than 30 days during the first 18 months or 18,000 miles, and the problems still exist, they could also qualify for the lemon law protections. 2014 Durango & Grand Cherokee Safety Defects
Chrysler has announced two safety defects affecting certain 2014 Dodge Durango and 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles. According to reports filed on the NHTSA website, the two problems will have approximately 260,000 owners returning their vehicles for repairs. 2010 Chevrolet Malibu Repurchased Under California Lemon Law
After analyzing repair orders and the purchase contract of a potential lemon law case, we determined that the owner of a 2010 Chevrolet Malibu did have a valid claim to have his vehicle repurchased under the California Lemon Law. He had complained to the dealer many times about his cars problems and had six (6) unsuccessful repair attempts for various defects. These problems included:

2010 Mercedes-Benz C300W Repurchased Under California Lemon Law
A month after purchasing a new 2010 Mercedes-Benz C300W, a California resident started experiencing problems with the temperature control and A/C system in her vehicle.
