A defect affecting certain 2016 Kia Sorento vehicles could result in the illumination of the check engine light and/or electronic stability control indicator light. According to reports filed with the NHTSA, a capacitor on the accelerator pedal assembly may have been improperly soldered at the manufacturer. This problem could result in a fault code indicating the senor circuit is open or shorted, forcing the vehicle into Limp Home Mode or Forced Idle Mode. According to reports, a joint in the intermediate shaft may have received an inadequate weld due to improperly maintained welding equipment at the supplier. 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Suspension Problem
General Motors will be asking owners of certain 2015 Chevrolet Corvette sports cars to return to their dealership for a defect that could affect safety. On some of these vehicles, the toe link outer ball joint may have not been fastened properly to the right rear suspension knuckle. A loose toe link could cause the rear suspension to make a loud metallic noises when turning corners or driving over bumps. Over time, the toe link could separate creating sudden vehicle instability. Nissan And Infiniti Brake And Steering Defect
According to reports filed with the NHTSA, certain Nissan and Infiniti vehicles could experience reduced braking performance and/or steering control due to a manufacturing error. During the assembly process of the front wheel hub, the hub bolts, torque member bolts, and/or stopper bolts may have been under torqued or missing. Over time the brake caliper could separate from the wheel assembly causing reduced braking and steering control. Warning signs that there is a problem include unfamiliar noises and/or vibrations. 2015 Lincoln MKC Accidental Shut Off
A poorly placed ignition button will have owners of certain 2015 Lincoln MKC returning to their dealership to have the problem repaired. According to reports, the ignition button could be accidentally pressed as drivers reach to shift gears or use the dashboard touch screen. The engine may shut off while the vehicle is in motion, increasing the likelihood of an accident. There have been no reports of injury related to the problem, but two complaints by consumers on the NHTSA website say they have accidentally pushed the button and shut off the engine while driving. Porsche Defective Hood Latch

According to reports, it is possible that the front hood upper lock components of certain 2014-2015 911, Boxster, and Cayman vehicles were not produced according to specifications.
