Seats Could Detach In Chevy & GMC Trucks
According to reports filed on the NHTSA website, certain 2015 Chevrolet Colorado and 2015 GMC Canyon trucks may fail to meet the requirements of the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards for seating systems. An investigation opened in January found certain seat frame attachment hooks, securing the drivers and passenger seats, may have not been properly attached to the vehicle body during the assembly process. 2015 Toyota Scion TC Rear Suspension Could Detach
Toyota will be asking a small number of 2015 Scion TC owners to return to their dealership for a problem affecting the rear suspension. According to reports filed with the NHTSA, removal and re-installation of the rear suspension to install an optional accessory coil spring may have resulted in improperly torqued bolts. 2013-2014 Dodge Viper Electrical Door Defect
After three warranty complaints and an investigation into unexpected door openings or failure to close events on the door, Dodge has issued a defect notice for certain 2013-2014 Dodge Viper vehicles. According to the investigation report, the manufacturer of the door switches replaced the two part epoxy potting with a hot melt adhesive. This change allowed moisture to seep past the potting, shorting the switch. A driver or passenger door that opens unexpectedly while the vehicle is in motion (even at low speeds), could increase the possibility of a crash and injury. Continue reading

According to reports filed with the NHTSA, the connection between the HPS air bag and the gas generator may have been manufactured out of specification. 2015 Mercedes Benz C300 & C400 Fuel System Defects
Mercedes Benz will be notifying owners of certain 2015 C300 & C400 cars, about a problem affecting the fuel delivery system.
- The subject vehicles may have a fuel delivery module that was not properly attached to the fuel tank. The module could become loose over time resulting in a fuel leak and an increased risk of fire.
- Secondly, the electrical wires going to the fuel delivery module may have been pinched between the flange of the module and the tank. The fuel pump may stop working, resulting in a stall and an increased chance of an accident.
