Toyota will be recalling over six hundred thousand 2004-2005 Sienna minivans manufactured between January 10, 2003 to August 10, 2005; and 2007-2009 Sienna minivans manufactured February 20, 2007 to December 12, 2008. These vehicles could have a problem within the shift lock solenoid that could result in the shift lever being moved out of “Park” without depressing the brake pedal. Continue reading

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s (NHTSA) Office of Defects Investigation (ODI) have opened a preliminary evaluation (PE13-013) into certain 2012-2013 Ford Focus electric vehicles after receiving thirty complaints of the vehicles shutting down while driving. The complaints show an increasing trend, with most received within the past five months. Continue reading

Toyota will be recalling certain 2006-2011 Toyota Rav4 and 2010 Lexus HS250h hybrid vehicles for a problem that could lead to rear tire rod failure. (IMPORTANT: This recall supersedes Toyota and Lexus recall 12V-373.)
