2013 BMW X3 Airbag Safety Problem
BMW will be contacting a small number of 2013 X3 xDrive 28i/35i vehicle owners to alert them about a manufacturing error affecting airbag deployment. According to reports filed with the NHTSA, three of the crossover vehicles, assembled between February 11, 2013 through February 27, 2013 were fitted with an instrument panel that may have been incorrectly manufactured. 2014 Acura MDX Drive Shaft Failure
Honda has identified a problem with certain 2014 Acura MDX AWD mid-size luxury crossover SUV’s, which could result in the drive shaft bolts loosening, possibly allowing the shaft to detach. In support of this recall, service bulletin 13-042 has been posted on Honda’s Integrated Service Information System (ISIS) which includes inspection, repair, parts, and warranty information related to this campaign. Warranty claims over engine durability of certain 2014 Chrysler 200, Dodge Avenger, Jeep Compass, and Jeep Patriot vehicles has resulted in Chrysler identifying a problem in certain 2.4L engines. Harley Davidson Motorcycle Clutch Does Not Disengage
Harley Davidson (HD) has identified two problems affecting the power train in certain 2014 FLH-Series motorcycles. According to the report filed with the NHTSA, certain units may have an incorrectly manufactured clutch master cylinder that could allow air to to get into the system. Additionally, the motorcycles may have been fitted with the incorrect clutch release plate. Both problem could prevent the clutch from disengaging, making it difficult for the rider to slow or stop the motorcycle. Continue reading
