VW Routan Rear Hub Assemblies
Volkswagen is recalling a small number of 2012 Routan minivans for a problem with the right hand rear hub and bearing assemblies. According to VW, the vehicles affected were built between November 15 to November 21, 2011, and were installed with a hub and bearing assembly that was not fully machined by the manufacturer. Audi A6 Airbag Flaw
Volkswagen is recalling certain 2012 Audi A6 sedans manufactured between April and May 2011. Because of a problem with the stitching process of the curtain air bag, the air bag may not deploy properly leaving occupants unprotected. Volkswagen Fuel Leaks In Diesel Engines
Volkswagen has announced a recall for certain Volkswagen and Audi vehicles equipped with a 2.0L TDI common rail diesel engines. According to a report filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), fuel injection pulses could create stress in the fuel line at the #2 injector. The stress could lead to cracks, fuel leaks and a potential fire in the presence of an ignition source. The vehicles involved in this recall include:
- 2009-2012 Volkswagen Golf
- 2009-2012 Volkswagen Jetta Sportwagen
- 2010-2012 Volkswagen Jetta
- 2010-2012 Audi A3

VW Recalls 2011 Jetta For Wiring Problems
Volkswagen (VW) has issued a recall for certain 2011 Jetta cars, built between March 2010 to March 2011, for problems with the electrical wiring. According to VW, a fuse shared between the anti-theft alarm and the converter box could short circuit causing the light and wipers to stop working. Under the recall, dealerships will reconfigure the wiring so that each system has their own fuse. Volkswagen Eos Recall
2009 Volkswagen Eos – Power train problem – They are recalling certain vehicles manufactured between September 2008 and August 2009. They may have wires that were not crimped correctly and thus the transmission may shift to neutral suddenly because of an improper detection.
