The Law Offices of Delsack & Associates recently helped the owner of a 2015 Jeep Wrangler obtain a buyback from Fiat Chrysler, after she started experiencing problems affecting the engine and cooling system. The vehicle had two (2) unsuccessful repair attempts and was out of service for over 30 days when she decided to contact us for advice. She told us she repeatedly complained to the dealership about the problems, but the Wrangler was still not repaired.
After analyzing our client’s potential lemon law case by reviewing the repair orders and purchase contract, we determined that she had a valid claim to have the vehicle repurchased. Within a relatively short period after filing our demand, FCA agreed to buyback the 2015 Jeep Wrangler, pay off the balance of the purchase, and reimburse our client for her down payment and monthly payments, less the mileage fee allowed under the California Lemon Law. The manufacturer also paid all attorneys fees.
Our client could not have been happier to get rid of vehicle and be reimbursed for the monies she had paid.
