  • 2013 Dodge Ram 1500: Certain vehicles manufactured between December 17, 2012 to January 22, 2013, may have a parking brake cable equalizer that was not set correctly. The brakes may not hold the vehicle when it is on a 20% grade and could roll away unexpectedly. Approximately 6,500 vehicle are affected by this brake problem
  • 2013 Dodge Dart: A small number of Dart cars may have been manufactured with the incorrect rear brake calipers. This could lead to an inoperable parking brake that could allow the vehicle to roll away unexpectedly. Dealers will inspect and replace any affected brake calipers.
  • 2012 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500: Due to incorrect assembly of the engine cover during service, the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) cooling bypass process could experience excessive heat trapped under the cover on the passenger side of the engine. The excessive head could result in an engine fire.
  • 2007-2008 Dodge Nitro and 2008 Jeep Liberty: Some vehicles may experience a transfer case heat shield that could drop down and rub on the drive shaft. If this happens the drive shaft could be weakened and break. Drive shaft failure will result in the loss of vehicle power and if a section of the shaft hits the case tunnel with enough force, the airbag computer could believe the vehicle is in a crash and deploy the airbags.
  • 2012 Jeep Compass and 2012 Jeep Patriot: Certain 4×4 vehicles may experience a condition where the transfer of fuel from the secondary to the primary side of the fuel tank could be interrupted. The vehicle could unexpectedly stall increasing the risk of an accident.
  • 2011-2012 Chrysler 300 and 2011-2012 Dodge Challenger and Charger: The affected vehicle may have improperly sized terminal crimps on the seat side airbag wiring harness which could cause the airbag to malfunction and the airbag warning light to illuminate. The airbag may not operate as designed increasing the risk of injury during an accident.
