General Motors (GM) is recalling a small number of 2014 GMC and Chevrolet SUVs because these vehicles fail to conform to the requirements of the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) for vehicle brake systems. NHTSA Investigates Hyundai And GM Problems
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) are launching an investigation into certain 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe vehicles after two complaints alleging failures of the right front axle shaft. In both instances the failure occurred with less that 5,000 miles on the odometer. GM Sedans with eAssist Experience Trunk Fires
General Motors have announced a recall for over 38,000 Chevrolet and Buick sedans equipped with its “eAssist” mild hybrid system. According to GM overheating of the circuit boards in the Generator Control Module (GCM) could result in loss of battery charge, the illumination of the engine malfunction indicator light, and in extreme cases, a fire in the trunk.
