Due to a manufacturing issue, Nissan will be asking owners of certain 2013-2014 Cube, 2013-2014 Juke, and 2014 Versa vehicles to return to their dealerships for repairs. According to the defect report, the casting of the ignition immobilizer antenna housing may not meet design specifications and could shrink when exposed to hot temperatures. Under rare circumstances, the start/stop button could become stuck in a halfway depressed position and electrical components within the button could contact repeatedly, initiating an emergency engine shut off procedure. 2015 Nissan Murano Brake Actuator Contamination
Nissan will be asking the owners of certain 2015 Murano vehicles to return to their dealership for repairs after receiving notification from their brake system manufacturer that there could be a problem with actuators similar to ones used on Nissan vehicles. According to the defect report, the Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) actuators could have contamination in the solenoid valves. This could affect the valves’ ability to completely close or open, building up pressure in the hydraulic brakes or allowing the pressure to completely drop. 2012 Nissan Versa CA Lemon Law Buyback
Six months after purchasing a new 2012 Nissan Versa, the owner was returning to her dealership for repairs. The car was experiencing repeated problems with the HVAC system including a defective AC evaporator, compressor, and condenser; as well as defective driver and passenger seats. The vehicle had been out of service for over 54 days and the problems were still not fixed. 2014 Nissan Rogue Stalls & Will Not Start
Nissan will be asking owners of certain 2014 Nissan Rogue crossover vehicles to return to their dealership for a problem that could result in stalling and a no start condition. According to the defect report, nickel plating from the fuel pump casing/cover may detach due to fuel flow, vibration, and pressure. These particles could move into the gap between the impeller and casing/cover, causing the impeller to stop rotating and the fuel pump to stop working. Nissan And Infiniti Brake And Steering Defect
According to reports filed with the NHTSA, certain Nissan and Infiniti vehicles could experience reduced braking performance and/or steering control due to a manufacturing error. During the assembly process of the front wheel hub, the hub bolts, torque member bolts, and/or stopper bolts may have been under torqued or missing. Over time the brake caliper could separate from the wheel assembly causing reduced braking and steering control. Warning signs that there is a problem include unfamiliar noises and/or vibrations. 2014 Nissan Rogue Electrical Short
Approximately 470,000 owners of certain 2008–2014 Nissan Rogue vehicles will be contacted by the manufacturer about a safety defect that could result in a vehicle fire. According to reports, liquid brought in or spilled on the drivers side floor area could seep into the carpet near a harness connector. 2015 Nissan Armada Transmission “Park” May Not Engage
