2017 Cadillac XT5 & GMC Acadia Reduced Braking Power

General Motors will be contacting the owners of certain 2017 Cadillac XTSs and 2017 GMC Acadias regarding a problem affecting the brake system. An investigation into the subject vehicles found that the supplier of the brake caliper assembly may have incorrectly oversized the front caliper piston bore during machining. The oversized bore could prevent proper compression, allow the seal to extrude between the piston and the bore, and could result in a brake fluid leak. Drivers may experience reduced braking and/or an illuminated brake warning light.

Dealers will inspect the front brake calipers, replacing the assemblies as necessary. 2016 Nissan Titan XD Inaccurate Fuel Readings

The owners of certain 2016 Nissan Titan Diesel XD trucks may experience problems with their fuel readings due to a manufacturing error affecting the fuel tank ventilation. During the assembly process, certain technicians may not have removed the temporary fuel tank breather tube cap and failed to affix the tube to the bed rail. As a result, the fuel tank may not receive proper ventilation and in rare instances may deform. This condition could result in the fuel gauge and the distance to empty meter displaying inaccurately.

Dealers will inspect the fuel tank breather tube, replacing the fuel tank, fuel sending unit, and/or fuel tank breather tube, as necessary. Dodge Durango & Jeep Grand Cherokee Fuel Line Leaks

Chrysler will be contacting the owners of certain 2016 Dodge Durango and 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles equipped with 3.6L engines, regarding a problem affecting the fuel system. According to the defect report, the fuel rail crossover tube may have been damaged during engine assembly. Over time a fuel leak could develop, increasing the risk of a vehicle fire.

2013-2015 Jaguar XF Fuel Leaks

Jaguar will be contacting the owners of certain 2013-2015 Jaguar XF vehicles equipped with 2.0L GTDi engines, regarding a problem affecting the fuel system. According to the defect report, a concern has been identified where the installation of the fuel delivery line may have insufficient clearance from the vehicle’s under shield and body. If the line chafes through, drivers may notice a fuel smell inside the vehicle or a fuel puddle underneath when it is parked.

Dealers will inspect the fuel delivery lines and replace damaged ones as necessary. An anti-abrasive sleeve and two additional mounting clips will be installed to ensure clearance. 2010-2011 Mazda Tribute FDM Fuel Leak

Mazda will be contacting the owners of certain 2010-2011 Tribute vehicles equipped with 3.0L engines, regarding a problem affecting the fuel system. According to the defect report, the Fuel Delivery Module (FDM) could crack, causing a fuel leak and a potential fire. Mazda will notify owners, and dealers will replace the FDM flange with one that has a redesigned fuel supply port. The recall is expected to begin December 15, 2016. Volvo Seat Belt Safety Defect

Volvo will be contacting the owners of certain 2016-2017 XC90, S90, XC60, V60 Cross Country, V60, S60 Cross Country, S60, and S60 Inscription vehicles regarding a problem affecting the front passenger seat belt. According to the defect report, the seat belt buckle was not punched correctly and could separate from the bracket. If the seat belt separates, the front seat passenger may not be adequately restrained in the event of a crash,

2015-2017 Ford Mustang Oil Leaks

Ford will be contacting the owners of certain 2015-2017 Mustang vehicles regarding a manufacturing error affecting the engine cooling system. According to the defect report, the engine oil cooler assembly hose may have insufficient crimps and could separate and leak. A sudden loss of engine oil may result in engine failure or a possible fire in the presence of an ignition source.

Those receiving notices will be asked to return to their dealerships to have the engine oil cooler tube assembly replaced. 2017 Jeep Cherokee Airbag Safety Defect

According to the defect report, the affected vehicles were manufactured with driver’s knee airbags that may have improper welds.
